Easy Vegan Pizza Margherita Recipe

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 15 minutes

Servings: 2

Ingredients:

  • Your Favorite Pizza Crust (I used Banza)

  • Vegan Mozzarella (I used Miyokos)

  • Your Favorite Pizza Sauce or homemade pesto or marinara

  • Fresh Basil

  • Toppings (vegan parm, roasted garlic, thyme, oregano)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). This ensures a crispy crust and perfectly melted cheese.

  2. Prepare the crust: Gently brush your pizza dough with some oil. This adds a hint of flavor and helps to get that golden-brown finish.

  3. Add the sauce and cheese: Spread your chosen sauce evenly over the crust. Then, add thin slices of vegan mozzarella. The thinner the slices, the better they melt!

  4. Top it up: Sprinkle fresh basil leaves and add your favorite toppings. Be creative! A combination of vegan parm, roasted garlic, thyme, and oregano works wonders.

  5. Bake to perfection: Pop your pizza in the oven and bake for approximately 10 minutes. Keep an eye on it for that golden cheesy goodness! Sprinkle with some shiitake bacon if you're feelin' fancy;)

  6. Enjoy: Once done, let it cool for a couple of minutes, slice it up, and dig in!

Remember, this recipe is super adaptable, so feel free to experiment with different toppings and sauces. Enjoy your delicious and nutritious homemade vegan pizza, Veginners! đŸ•đŸŒ±
