Vegan Cheese Revolution: How to Make EPIC Vegan Cheesy Garlic Bread in the Air Fryer!

Hey Veginners! Gone are the days when opting for a plant-based lifestyle meant limited choices. In today's culinary landscape, veganizing your favorite dishes isn't just possible—it's a delightful adventure!

Now, with a sprinkle of creativity and a dash of exploration, you can discover a world of kinder alternatives. One of the shining stars in this vegan revolution? The plethora of non-dairy cheese brands that have been surfacing.

With each new brand, we witness the evolution of the plant-based food industry, bringing richer flavors, better textures, and a reminder that compassionate choices can be delicious too!

Vegan Cheesy Garlic Bread Recipe

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes

  • Cook Time: 6 minutes

  • Servings: 20 slices (from one standard baguette)

Ingredients:

  • French baguette or Italian bread, sliced

  • 4-5 cloves of garlic, minced

  • 1/2 cup plant butter, softened

  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional)

  • 1 to 1.5 cups non-dairy cheese (your choice, like vegan mozzarella & parmesan)

  • Seasonings (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Garlic Butter Preparation: In a bowl, combine the softened plant butter, minced garlic, and parsley (if using). To help the vegan cheese melt and prevent it from flying around in the air fryer, I like to mix in some cheese during this step.

  2. Prepping the Bread: Slice the bread into about 1-inch thick slices. Spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each bread slice. Sprinkle and press the remaining cheese and seasonings over the buttered slices.

  3. Air Frying: Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (180°C) if required. Place the prepared bread slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring no overlap. Cook for 6 minutes, until the bread is golden and the cheese is melted.

  4. Serve: Remove the cheesy garlic bread from the air fryer and serve while warm with your favorite marinara sauce.

Isn't it exciting to see how easy and flavorful vegan choices have become? I'm consistently amazed by the quality and variety of non-dairy cheeses available to us.

But, while I have my favorites like Miyokos & Kite Hill, I'm always on the lookout for new recommendations. So, spill the beans (or in this case, the cashew cheese)!
