Oatmeal is such a diverse breakfast because there's so many awesome ways to make it! Here's one of my fav oatmeal recipes.

Golden Turmeric Oatmeal Recipe
Servings: 4
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
13 ½ oz coconut milk
1oz maple syrup or coconut nectar
1 tsp ground turmeric
½ tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp ground ginger
2 tsp ground flaxseed
fresh blueberries, optional topping
raw walnuts, optional topping
unsweetened shredded coconut, optional topping
Instructions:
Heat the Liquid Base: In a medium saucepan, add the coconut milk, maple syrup (or coconut nectar), ground turmeric, cinnamon, and ginger. Stir well to combine, then bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
Cook the Oats: Add the rolled oats to the simmering mixture. Lower the heat and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 5-7 minutes, until the oats have absorbed most of the liquid and reach your desired consistency.
Incorporate Flaxseed: Stir in the ground flaxseed, and cook for another 1-2 minutes to thicken.
Serve: Divide the oatmeal into bowls. For an added touch, top with fresh blueberries, raw walnuts, and unsweetened shredded coconut if desired.
Enjoy: Serve warm and enjoy your creamy, spiced golden turmeric oatmeal!
