Vegan Apple Crumble 🥧
Updated: Nov 17, 2022
This apple crumble is supposed to be a dessert, but I eat it for breakfast! 😝 Make it ala mode with some vegan vanilla bean ice cream. Tip: Use the leftover apples from my apple cider recipe to make this apple crumble!

Servings: 8
Cook time: 40min
Ingredients:
30 oz cored apples (approx. 4-6 apples)
1 oz coconut sugar
1 tsp of cinnamon
6 oz of vegan butter
4 oz of whole grain spelt flour
8 oz rolled oats
1.5 oz of pure maple syrup
Vegan vanilla ice cream (optional topping)
Easy Vegan Recipe | Apple Crumble
Apple Layer
(Skip this step if using the apples from my apple cider recipe.) Preheat oven to 350 F. Place apples, sugar and cinnamon in food processor or my robot chef and chop 6 sec/speed 4. Grease an oven-proof dish then transfer chopped apples to it. Set aside while making topping.
Flapjack Topping
Melt vegan butter on stove or in my robot chef for 3 min/80°C/speed 1.
Add flour, oats, and maple syrup and mix well 40 sec/speed 3. Finish mixing by hand with spatula then scatter over apples in dish. Bake for 35-40 minutes until top is golden brown and crunchy.
Once crumble is ready, serve warm with your favorite vegan ice cream and sprinkle some cinnamon on top. Store leftovers in a sealed glass container in the fridge... just reheat in the oven or enjoy it chilled! For the ultimate treat, pair this dessert with our apple cider recipe.
