Vegan Meatball Marinara 🍅

Updated: Sep 7, 2022

This is the perfect meal to cook for your meat-luvin' friends to show them how AMAZING vegan food is! I promise they won't be able to tell the difference;) And once you make our delicious no-salt marinara sauce you will never buy another jar of pre-made sauce! 𝑱𝒐𝒊𝒏 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑭𝒓𝒆𝒆 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒕-𝑩𝒂𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝑪𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒔 𝒐𝒏 𝑺𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒚!

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz yellow onions

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • 2 oz extra virgin olive oil

  • 30 oz fresh or canned crushed tomatoes (no salt added)

  • 1 tsp monkfruit

  • 1 tsp basil or 10 fresh basil leaves

  • a pinch of thyme, oregano, & black pepper (optional)

  • steamed spinach (optional)

  • Beyond Meatballs

Easy Recipe:

  1. In my robot chef or in a food chopper, chop onions & garlic. If not using my robot chef transfer to stove & sauté with olive oil 7 min/250°F.

  2. Add tomatoes, monkfruit, and spices then cook approx. 20 min/212°F, stirring occasionally.

  3. Meanwhile, cook Beyond Meatballs according to package directions. Serve hot with pasta of choice or my fav, Kite Hill Spinach & Ricotta Ravioli with steamed spinach. Extra sauce can be used with our vegan pizza recipe or frozen for later, I love Souper Cubes! (affiliate link)

Tip: For less chunky sauce, use an immersion blender or blend directly in my robot chef.
